During your time at LGA, you will:

  • Hands-On Experience: Get directly involved in audits and audit reviews, gaining practical knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in audit and assurance.
  • Develop Key Skills: Become familiar with various aspects of the audit service line, working on diverse projects that will broaden your understanding of audit processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with experienced A&A professionals who will mentor and support you as you grow your technical expertise.
  • Become Part of the Team: Be fully integrated into our culture, attend firm events, and build meaningful relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Career Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions, receive performance feedback, and get the opportunity to explore various pathways within public accounting.

Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Have a strong interest in and work towards developing an awareness in the A&A arena to plan and perform audits and compilation engagements in various owner-managed businesses for number of different industries.
  • Exude intellectual curiosity, have strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
  • Practice excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and communicate confidently and concisely with various levels of firm management in both written and verbal form.
  • Be self-motivated and energic with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
  • Produce high quality work which adheres to the relevant professional standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.
  • Be adept at utilizing various A&A software as well as Adobe and Excel.
  • Ability to work on-site for 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday).

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled BS/BA in Tax, Accountancy, or related concentrations.
